Estimated Cost of Attendance

At UB, we have standard student budgets that serve as a basis for awarding financial aid funds. These budgets reflect typical expense patterns of the University at Buffalo students based on research conducted by Student Academic Records & Financial Services in conjunction with the academic divisions. While actual expenses will vary based on lifestyle, the estimated costs listed below should assist you in planning your own budget.

The estimated budgets represent full time attendance for the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 academic terms. The estimated budget is made up of direct (tuition and fees) and indirect costs (housing, board, books and supplies, personal and miscellaneous, transportation, and origination fee).

For further information regarding the cost of attendance, please contact the Student Response Center at (716) 645-2450 or 1-866-838-7257.
