24-CORRECT NAME ON FAFSA TO MATCH SOC SEC CARD 

You must correct questions 1, 2 and 3 at fafsa.ed.gov.  The name you reported on your FAFSA does not match the name in the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) records for your Social Security Number (SSN). If your name is incorrect, you must make the necessary corrections. If your name is correct, you must confirm it by re-entering it in questions 1,2, and 3. If you confirm your name, you should also contact the SSA to make sure they correct the information in their records. The SSA can be contacted by calling 800-772-1213 or by visiting www.socialsecurity.gov.
