Resign from a Course
Resigning from a course, is a student action to drop a course from his/her semester schedule after registration ends (second week of classes Spring and Fall) but before the end of the last opportunity to withdraw from the class for that semester (end of eleventh week of Spring or Fall semester). An "R" grade is automatically assigned, indicating that the student has dropped the course without academic penalty.
See the Resigning From a Course Web page for details.
