Student Medical Insurance
University at Buffalo’s Health Insurance program. Student Medical Insurance is mandatory for all full-time University at Buffalo students. You will be billed automatically; however, this charge may be waived by providing the Student Medical Insurance Office with proof that the student is covered under an alternative plan. You will receive correspondence from the Student Medical Insurance Office regarding plan benefits and waiver procedures.
