When We Bill You - Fall

Students will receive up to four statements of account during each semester until the account is paid in full. The first statement will be mailed to your permanent address in July before the beginning of the Fall Semester and in December before the beginning of the Spring Semester.

Specific Dates for Fall 2008 First Bill:
If you register on or before July 18, 2008* Your bill will be mailed July 21, 2008 You must pay by August 19, 2008
If you register after July 18, 2008*** Your bill will be mailed September 8, 2008 You must pay by October 7, 2008

* Continuing students who do not register by July 18, 2008 will be charged a $40 administrative fee and a late payment fee. This is non-negotiable and must be paid.

*** An administrative fee will be charged to any student attempting to register for the first time ON OR AFTER the FIRST DAY OF CLASSES. This fee will apply to all students including those who receive late admission to the University. NOTE: The last day for new UB students to register for the Fall 2008 semester without a $40 administrative fee is August 24, 2008.

Please Note:

  • Tuition, fees, and other University charges assessed on the first account statement will be due by the payment due date and are considered late if not received by the penalty date appearing on your statement. Payment is expected by the due date even though you may have adjustments to your schedule or have not attained full-time status during registration.

  • Each account statement will list the amount due the University. Any unpaid charges from the previous statement will be brought forward, and additional charges, payments and credits will be shown. The statement also will include the calculation of the amount due from any authorized deferment. These include TAP and tuition waivers. Students must provide the Student Response Center with proof of the receipt of such an award prior to the statement penalty date in order to deduct the award from their amount due. All charges not covered by deferments must be paid by the due date.

  • Failure to pay the amount due by the penalty date will result in the automatic assessment of a late payment fee determined by the account balance. A postmark prior to the "payment due" date does not constitute evidence of having paid on time. The late payment fee is non-negotiable and must be paid.

  • University bills are sent to the permanent address that is on file with the Student Response Center. It is your responsibility to keep this address correct. FAILURE TO RECEIVE A BILL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS A REASON TO WAIVE THE LATE PAYMENT FEE. | See Changing Your Address

  • NOTE: When you pay your bill in full (resulting in a zero balance), you will not receive any further billing statements.
